Traditional lab testing is used to evaluate the presence of illness or disease, but is not often used to direct individuals to a greater state of health. With the health evolution program, your lab results will not only be evaluated from the traditional pathological perspective, but also from a functional perspective that will go beyond illness and tell you where your basic level of health currently is.
Functional lab testing to evaluate the
foundation of health.
Blood Chemistry minimum:
CBC and Iron
These tests give clues about infection and how hard your immune system is working. A solid iron count is needed to ensure good results on your health evolution program.
You may have these tests ordered by your current medical doctor if you would like your insurance to cover the cost of the tests.
All lab tests must be within the last four months.
Saliva and Stool tests:
This test evaluates parasitic infection, gut bacterial flora, H.Pylori, gut SIgA, four cortisol levels, and DHEA.
Insurance does not typically cover this type of testing. The cost is $132. You can email our office and we will send you a test kit.

Once the results of your tests arrive at our UHM office, the results are evaluated from a functional perspective and a specific lifestyle and nutritional program will be put together for you based on your body’s individual bio-chemistry. The goal is to restore basic physical function.
Re-testing is advised after 1-4 months of being on your health evolution program to ensure you are getting the results you desire.
If your tests indicate a pathological problem exists, your UHM doctor will make the appropriate recommendations and referrals.
